Blessed with the gift of teaching and having a way with children, I offer a wide and unique combination of academic services, ranging from one-on-one coaching for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT) and tutoring for core classes (K-12) to reviewing college applications and essays. I relate to children and teens with varying abilities and backgrounds, from those working behind/ahead of their age peers to those dealing with obscure learning differences. The goal is the same: to help master the fundamentals by a method that suits the child's learning style to be able to best perform on tests. Time management, study skills, and accountability are emphasized. The key is in lighting the spark that makes the kids 'want to learn' so they learn 'how to learn' and become lifelong learners, thinkers, and doers. Sessions are completely hands-on and engaging while focused on identifying and improving weak areas to deliver the best results. Yes, I need results because I am investing in your children and their success is my success!
